In answer to a comment by a friend that "There is not an organized movement to oust Trump", I offer the following:

It is a coalition led and organized by the socialist wing of the democratic party that is now in control of the democratic party.  It is very well funded by the normal funders of socialism, unions, government employees, and people that are well meaning, but do not understand human nature. In addition, the funders have been joined by the “ONE WORLDERS”, that group of organizations and individuals that will most profit from a larger customer base, ie: social media, internet providers, multinational corporations.  Somebody pays the “community organizers”, prints the signs, funds the anarchist organizations,  and the bloggers spewing fake news on social media.  These people do not work for free.  It is very sad that they are willing to turn the country into Cuba, Venezuela, or communist Russia or China, in order to do this.

Capitalism has worked for the United States for 250 years and for most of the rest of the world since WWII.  The United States has led the post WWII evolution to its greatest success in history.  In order to continuing doing this we must stop the march toward socialism.

Trump may have a miserable personality, but he can and is stopping the socialist movement.  No Washington Insider can do this because they are a part of the problem.  I’m sure the pandemic will dwindle rapidly after November 4, lets hope it is because we are getting on with completing the task of stopping socialism.

The country is being driven toward anarchy by a group of mentally ill people with no regard for the safety of the citizens.  When the country collapses from debt and political chaos, who will be the first to go.....just remember "Et tu Brutus"....It will be the politicians.

MASSIVE ARMS BUILDUP

The Federal Government Operational Branches(Non-Military), like the Post Office, Department of Education, etc. have purchased 1.6 BILLION  rounds of ammunition in the last 4 years.  That is 5 bullets for every living American.  What is going on here? It appears that we are bracing for a massive insurrection.  There is no explanation from Obama or any other government official except the ammo is needed for training.....training what!!!
The Military cannot be used against citizens, although I suspect that some Americans fighting for ISIS have been droned, and Hillary said se wanted to "drone" Julian Assange.  It is clear that Homeland Security and several other government agencies are preparing for a fight.  The coming election my be the starter, or it may be the pending collapse of our economic system, and it for sure could be the idea that some states like Texas have threatened to secede from the Union.
If we could relocate the entire Federal workforce using the plan we have for Syrian refugees, I would feel much safer and have some hope for my grandchildren.

IT'S NOT ABOUT TWO DEPLORABLE CANDIDATES

The upcoming election is the most important election since 1864.  It is not about the two miserable people that we have running for the position of political talking head.  It is about the governmental philosophy that we choose for the next 4 to 8 years.  It is truly about Socialism vs Capitalism.

If the USA continues down the road to socialism that we currently  traverse with the Obama administration, in 8 years we will look like Venezuela.  The economy will have collapsed taking with it most of the "western free world", and anarchy will reign supreme.  Individual freedom will be replaced by skirmishes between government "armies" and private "armies".

Trump is a wild card with an inflated ego that enjoys listening to his own speeches and Hillary is the current disciple of  Karl Marx and Saul Alinski(she did a thesis on Saul Alinski).  Hopefully a Trump administration will have at least a majority of people that understand conservative capitalistic principles. We know who will be in Hillary's administration, they all live in Washington, DC already. 

Think about what this means to your children and grandchildren, for if the US implodes it will take the free world with it........

 

Trump is a Clinton Shill

The ruthless Clinton Machine is not taking any chances on Hillary not being elected the next president.   They has coerced Donald Trump to run for President as a Republican.  This ruthless organization makes the mafia look like a church choir.  Those of us old enough to remember know what happened to Vince Foster and Mr. Brown when they tried to cross the Clinton's.  They mysteriously died. The Clinton's attract the lowest form of humanity as aides and advisers, and maintain a stable of enforcers.

Trump will get the Republican nomination and the Clinton organization and the socialist democrats will have a field day.  They will dig up skeletons from Trump's closet, and I am sure there are many.  Then Hillary will become the "lesser of two evils" and the country will vote her onto the throne.

The sad part is that the country is very fragile right now, and without strong leadership we could very well get involved in a conflict that would break up the country.  There is no doubt that a strong leader that understands finances, people, and what makes a country work today is desperately needed.  The current crop of candidates are severely lacking in those characteristics.

Remember the words of Albert Einstein "  I don't know what kind of weapons the next world war will bring forth, but the war after that will be fought with spears and stones."

Wild Pigs

This is a word to the wise, if you can understand what's going on around you.... *

There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class.

One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.  The professor asked the young man what was the matter.

The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist regime. In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question.

He asked: "Do you know how to catch wild pigs?"

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.  The young man said that it was no joke. "You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn.

"When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence.

"They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side.

"The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd.
�Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity."

The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America. The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare entitlements, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.

One should always remember two truths: There is no such thing as a free lunch, and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.

If you see that all of this wonderful government "help" is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America, you might want to share this with your friends.

If you think the free ride is essential to your way of life, then you will probably not share this.

BUT, God help us all when the gate slams shut!

The greatest danger to the survival of the USA is not Muslim terrorist or bird Flu or nuclear disaster or any of the myriad of catastrophes that pop up on the media daily.  All of these things could happen, most won’t, but it gives the idle minds something to worry over and it attracts viewers, listeners, and computer addicts.  These events have a short term effect on the people involved, but typically that is a very small percentage of the whole population of the United States.

The gravest threat to our existence as we know it for the whole country is an electorate that is incapable or unwilling to understand the principals, beliefs, and character of the candidates for which  they are voting. To vote for someone because he or she is good looking, nice dresser, or has a particular skin color is ludicrous.  Our society today has lost all sense of logic.  We have turned our political process from a great Republic into a reflection of a corrupt third world dictatorship. 

The only solution is to require people to qualify to vote by passing a civics test. Since that will never be politically acceptable, how about going back to government funded campaigning with no outside money, political ads, billboards, etc.  Just a series of debates broadcast on TV, radio, and on the net.

Ineptocracy - A Failed System and How to Fix IT.

There is a direct correlation between the size of government and the money it spends, and the number of laws on the books.  Each new law requires at least 5 government employees to oversee and enforce the law.  It is ridiculous  The most amazing fact about this is that nobody knows how many laws are on the books as it is purely objective as to what is a law  and what isn’t in many cases . One Louisiana congressman said that every person in the United States could be charged with violating one federal law or another. One thing for sure, we have a political system that is wrought with conflict of interest when it comes to lawyers.  Congress has 54% of the Senators and 36% of the representatives as lawyers. How about a sweeping amendment to the Constitution that requires term limits, limit the number of laws on the books, and prohibits lawyers from running for office……fat chance.

What to do….. Elect politicians that are not lawyers and have as a part of their platform, the pledge to repeal laws.  The Political/legal system becomes a make work program for the American Bar Association, creating laws so they can give lawyers work.

This sort of sweeping change is the only thing that can save our Republic from anarchy leading to a totalitarian dictatorship.

Our men’s coffee group only allows five minutes to talk about “conditions and procedures”, after that you must talk about current events and politics, local, national, and international.   After a great deal of study, I have determined that there is a direct correlation between age and knowledge.  I’m sure that Plato came up with that a longtime ago,  but the younger you are the less you know about politics and current events.

Now the philosophical question is……Is it the fact that the older you get allows for more time to research and become aware of the subjects, or do young people just not give a damn.  I think grandchildren are the triggering mechanism.  As your grandchildren grow toward adulthood, you try to envision what kind of a life they are going to have.  That scares the hell out of you today, so you look for what can be done to improve the grandkids lot.  After very little study, you see that the fault lies with the idiots we elect to political office at all levels.

The last 6 years have seen a doubling of rules and laws, when local, state, and national forms of governance are considered.  Of course there is some variance based on states.  I’m sure that is not true in Wyoming.

At all levels of governance we must start repealing laws, and make it illegal to create a new law without repealing an old one.  This is THE problem that is increasing the size of government. This is the procedure that must be implemented all over the country. Find a politician that will sign on to this law.....

DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN

 



I see all of my friends spending time talking about procedures and medications and being completely oblivious to what is going on in the good old USA.  What is wrong with this picture???

The country is in a financial death spiral, Christianity is being  demonized, most of the Euro centric nationalities are fast disappearing, and we are sitting around fiddling.......and Rome is on fire.

I am of the age that nothing will change for me, but what of my children and especially my grandchildren.  They have little hope of living to a standard that I enjoyed,  AND there are people in Washington that say "that is the way it should be"!!!

Is there really a conspiracy to take from the rich countries and give wealth to the developing countries because the rich countries got rich at the expense of the poor countries??  Did it begin with Marx and  has been refined over the decades to what we have in the USA today??  Are groups like The Bilderberg Group, the Trilateral Commission, and others really running the world??? 

I don't know the answers to these questions, but I do know that the people we have in Washington today, both Democratic and Republican are totally inept.  They are doing everything wrong, whether purposely or because they are selfish and stupid remains to be seen.  The comparison with the downfall of Rome is scary....we are on the same path.  I just wish I had 30 more years and the time, energy, and money to do something about it...

The next 30 years could be a disaster...I hope our grandchildren survive.

Too Much Data

It is apparent in today’s world that we have too much data and information available to the common man.  Everyone is too lazy or too busy to take the time to understand the data so they rely on someone else to interpret it for them.  That is where our problems begin.  The interpreter has an agenda, because everyone has an agenda, usually relevant to what makes them the most money or gives them the biggest ego boost.   So the bias interpreter tells the common man what the data means with his or her spin on the conclusions that are made.  The common man then runs out and parrots this conclusion to all of his friends and relatives as though it was his original interpretation of the data.  With the abundance of data and the abundance of interpreters, you seldom get any valid information from the vast amount of data.

Much time is spent in useless analysis and our productivity goes down and down.  We know the greatest detail about insignificant things, but details about important matters are lost in the quagmire of useless information.  As a result the common man “tweets”  his friends and posts something on Facebook and he is ambivalent to the crashing world around him.

More and more Americans are really clueless as to the situation that exists in the world today because it is beyond their desire or capability to sift through the data and come to a conclusion themselves.   This is a very dangerous situation in terms of the survival of our society.  We are “ripe for the pickens” and there are plenty of evil people trying to pick the fruit of the United States.

Who is really running the Government

We should blame all of the Politicians for not having the capability to control things, but they have very little influence on the day to day annoyances of big government.  The government is run by the bureaucrats that control what the politicians see and are told.  This would be OK if the "crats" were intelligent, non political, individuals.  But of course they aren't  .....  the government was the first employer to change the hiring requirements from the "best qualified for the job" to hire "to fill the quota" qualified or not.  This began in the '60's and has been expanding since.  We now have quotas for race, gender, sexual preferance, size, to name but a few.  There is no quota for "best for the job". 
The unfortunate thing is that these people write all of the laws, set up and enforce all of the regulations, and perpetuate their species.  They have written laws that inept politicians have passed to give themselves premium retirement programs, heathcare exempted from their own buracracy, and a " I can't be fired or laid off" program that is second to none.
The sad part of all of this is that they have spread the disease.  Most of our large corporations now have similar hiring laws as they are afraid of litigation or are required by law to hire base on the same quota system.
It will take several generations of dedicated and bright politicans to fix the system, and I am afraid that we don't have the will or the time to do what needs to be done.

Here is the “Wikipedia” definition:  Sustainable development (SD) is a pattern of resource use, that aims to meet human needs while preserving the environment so that these needs can be met not only in the present, but also for generations to come (sometimes taught as ELF-Environment, Local people, Future). The term was used by the Brundtland Commission which coined what has become the most often-quoted definition of sustainable development as development that "meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."^[1][2]

Sustainable development ties together concern for the carrying capacity of natural systems with the social challenges facing humanity. As early as the 1970s "sustainability" was employed to describe an economy "in equilibrium with basic ecological support systems."^[3] Ecologists have pointed to The Limits to Growth^[4], and presented the alternative of a "steady state economy"^[5] in order to address environmental concerns.

The field of sustainable development can be conceptually broken into three constituent parts: environmental sustainability, economic sustainability and sociopolitical sustainability.

This sounds harmless enough until we look into how this phrase was coined.  The UN started in the mid – seventies with a group of academics looking at the problem of sustainability of the earth….a noble idea.  This was studied and reports were given at conferences and life plugged along.  Then there comes a conference in Rio in the late 90’s to implement “sustainable development” and out of the conference came a UN Document called “Agenda 21” .  This document was signed by George H W Bush on behalf of the US.  Clinton then created a commission on “sustainable development”, and it exists today.   Over the years the commission has passed all of the principles of  “ sustainable development” down to all levels of government as though this is the goal that we should shoot for….clear down to the local county planning commission.

The three guiding principles of Agenda 21 are:

·       The majority of land should be owned by the government (there is a map of all of the land that the government wants to grab in the USA.)

·       The population of the world should be reduced to 1 Billion people.

·       Wealth should be redistributed from the rich to the poor.

I am not making this up folks!!!!!!!

We have signed up for this and the bureaucrats and the politicians are making it happen.  Think about what has gone on in the last 15 years.

Bill Clinton did an end run on congress and designated many places in the US as National Monuments or Wilderness areas.

Europe, Japan, China, USA and most of the Western world have a big birth control program to limit population growth.

And we have Obummer and his redistribution of wealth programs..

This is not the illuminati, this is real!!! It is a plan generated by academics and third world politicians to remove our freedoms.

Before you think I have been drinking from the conspiracy bottle of tequila, I suggest that you google “Agenda 21” and watch some of the video and read some of the documentation.

Get the Republican candidates to repeal our signature to the “Agenda 21” treaty.

Catch 22-Our judicial System is broken

Our country’s legal system is broken.  We have way too many laws and way too many lawyers.  The nanny-state mentality is out of hand.  We all violate laws everyday and don’t know it until we get busted.

The Catch 22 part of the scenario is that laws are made by politicians, most politicians are lawyers.  It is a self serving system to provide jobs for lawyers.  The more laws we have the greater need for lawyers.  Politicians are lawyers so making laws becomes a jobs program.

The size of the government is directly proportional to the number of laws that are on the books.  Therefore not only do we provide a jobs program for lawyers, we also provide a jobs program for bureaucrats. 

What is the solution?  The only plausible solution is to pass a “Law limitation” amendment to the federal and every state constitution.  This simple amendment would say that ;”The maximum number of laws allowed is XXXXXXXXX.”  This would force the repeal of many antiquated and frivolous laws.  But the great thing about this amendment is that it would limit the size of government.

Find a politician that will support this amendment and you have found a winner!

What do we do with them?

Our economy is evolving to an information economy.  Even the lower level data entry type jobs require some learned skills.  There are fewer and fewer "common labor" type jobs.  This will get much worse as the world become tied closer economically. Places like China will always be able to provide labor at a cheaper cost the we in the USA.
So what do we do with the increasing percentage of people that are not capable or not willing to become educated to be productive in American Society.  In China they put them in the Army where they can be controlled and required to do mundane jobs like guard ATM Machine.  In Europe they let them run around and loot stores, not a very productive thing to be doing.  Roosevelt had it much easier, he formed the Civilian Conservation Corp and they built parks and roads.  Red Rocks Park west of Denver was a product of the CCC. 
I think Roosevelt had a good idea.  Lets require that all able bodied men and women be required to perform a service for the government if they want to collect unemployment insurance after 90 days.  They could build parks, check on senior citizens, pick up trash, do simple clerical jobs, wash the government cars, and I'm sure we could think of a lot longer list.
If they refuse to work stop all payments of government subsidies.  Fortunately in America we the people have guns and I'm sure that if they riot and loot, it will be much different than in Europe.

Obama is only a symbol of the Problem

The following is a quote that is making the e-mail rounds. It is attributed to a Czech Republic editorial.  It really hits the nail on the head......

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama Presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their President. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President."

I am not responsible for the deeds of my Ancestors

I see that the Cherokee Nation has expelled all of the decendents from the slaves that they owned.  The Cherokee have some sense.  Our country is loaded with "dogooders" who want to make us feel guilty about the actions of our Ancestors.

The "lamprey" class in the US is growing larger each generation.  They suck the blood from the rest of us (look up Lamprey for the non aquatic).  It is not only the third generation welfare people, but a lot of others that play the system to get government money.

The Indians in many parts of the country have found a way through the Casinos and through oil to become financially independent.  They are now struggling with the "lampreys" that claim indian blood just to get a piece of the pie.  I saw a blond blue eyed fisherman on the Tulilip Indian Reservation in Washington, using his "heritage"  to net salmon.

We are desparate for someone to step up to the task of leading the country who has a little common sense and the guts to make decisions that aren't politically correct.

Pigs

Captain Pugwash's ship is the Black Pig(El Swino Negra), so he has a love of the pig. Jews and Muslin's have one thing in common, they won't eat pork. A pig is easily domesticated as they will befriend anything that feeds them. When they are awake, they are constantly in search of something to eat.....some people are like that.

In the dawn of civilization the pig was the first domestic animal as the tribesman figured out that if he fed a pig it would follow him and he could kill it and eat it when he got hungry.  However since the pig would eat everything, he would get diseases and transfer them to humans when he was eaten without proper cooking. This spread cholera and other bad diseases throughout the developing world, virtually wiping out entire civilizations, especially when pigs were introduced to indigenous tribes of the Americas. 



The Jews first decided to stop the practice of eating the pigs.  They kept them as garbage disposals, but would not eat them.  Mohammed thought that was a good idea so he added that as a no-no to the Koran.  Pigs nearly died out until the Europeans decided to branch out and go exploring.  They needed a steady supply of food in their exploits and what better way to get that than to drag some pigs along and butcher one when the troops needed a little protein.



This is what led to the demise of most of the indigenous people of North, Central, and South America.  The pigs got loose, rapidly reproduced, and became game food for the hunter-gathers.   

The diseases they carried were unknown and so there was no natural immunity….lots of dead Indians.



The point of all of this is that if it were not for the pig, European expansion could not have happened.  The population of Indigenous people in North, Central, and South America was ten times the population of Europe.  When Cortez landed in Mexico, Mexico City was 100,000 people, Paris, the largest city in Europe, was 20000.



We would all be Incas if the pig hadn’t been invited to come to the party.    It goes to show you how frail our civilization really is when it owes everything to a pig.

The Essays of Captain Pugwash Volume 1

The essays of Captain Pugwash cover a variety of topics, mainly associated with using common sense to address everyday problems of life.

Today, most people it seems have lost the ability to use common sense to solve their everyday problems.  To help with these problems, I have compiled my approach to the simple solutions that seemed to work best for me.

Maintaining the Balance of Risk vs. Reward

Most decisions come down to determining the risk of an option, and the reward for choosing that option.   These two characteristics of any alternative are sometimes difficult to quantify.  One way to do this is to create a decision matrix.  This is an exercise where you list the alternatives for a particular decision down the left side of a sheet of paper, then across the top you have the “risk” and “return” characteristics associated with this decision.  Some typical characteristics are …. Cost, utilization of time, effect on quality of life, etc..  The tricky part is to set and agree upon a priority within these characteristics.  Then set a value on the priorities. IE: 100 for the most important and 50 for the least important, or whatever you choose and agree upon.

Anger and Stress Management

Anger and Stress mess up your body chemistry.  If you are in danger of overdoing it you can usually notice the following symptoms.

·       Your sweat smells really foul.

·       Your tears will also smell bad.

·       Your urine smells almost like you have been eating asparagus.

·       You will also get a very dry mouth/throat

This happens over a period of time, not just on an occasional occurrence, but when Anger and Stress are taking a toll on your body’s health.

Who is responsible for what?

Under all circumstances you and only you are responsible for your own actions and deeds.  However, under no circumstance are you or the people of the current society responsible for the deeds of your ancestors or your ancestors’ friends. 

Depending on others.

Independence is perhaps our most valued characteristic.  It is very important to not become dependant on any one person or entity.  Someday that person or entity will be gone.  Therefore one should spend an inordinate amount of time learning how to be totally independent of others…….at the same time developing relationships with other people and organizations as a backup for when your independence is compromised,  and it will be compromised.

Get a Second Opinion

When dealing with Lawyers, Doctors, Realtors, Auto Mechanics, and most all professional service people, GET AT LEAST THREE ESTIMATES.  Get a second opinion.  Professional Service People, like anyone else is interested in making money, and that may preclude them from giving you the best advice, or they may not be competent, which will also be a detriment to what you are trying to do…..

Greed drives most people’s agenda

Greed is not just associated with money. It is also associated with ego, and power and many other things.  A majority of people’s actions are governed by greed. The attitude of “what’s in it for me” governs their daily life.  If you find someone that is truly not greedy, as I have defined it, hang onto them as they are precious.

Freedom is VERY precious

We have lost so many freedoms in the last 60 years. The freedom to fail, the freedom to be anonymous, the freedom to take risk in order to have fun, the freedom to be honest in what you say….these are some of the freedoms we have lost and don’t know we have lost.  They ones we know we have lost are too numerous to mention, they have to do with tangible things like property rights, government control, and lack of common sense.

Humor IS the best medicine

Our brains make us sick 95% of the time.  If our brain is unhappy, we are usually sick, and if we are sick it is usually because our brain is making us that way. If we think we are sick, then we are sick…….it is our brain that is not feeling well. 

We know that if we are laughing, we are not feeling sorry for ourselves.  The chemistry of a laugh energizes our whole body including our immune system.   Therefore if we are continuously happy, we are healthy….Tell a joke everyday to the people you care for to help keep them happy too.
