Who was Captain Pugwash

Captain Pugwash was a benevolent pirate.  He was the Captain of the Good Ship "Black Pig", "El Swino Negra" for our spanish speaking friends.  He pontificated on most every subject as though he was an expert, and gave away most of his booty.
